I'm fucked, part two.
I tore the house apart for a couple of hours looking for the store keys this morning with no luck at all. I went in to work about 10 this morning and the assistant manager and I looked around the store and checked the parking lot with no luck at all.. The store manager came in at 11 and after making a few phone calls we heard back from our district's loss prevention manager. He said he'd give us a couple of days to find the keys before he ordered the store to be re-keyed (which is going to cost about $800.00). Of course he made no mention to my manager what my fate would be. Honestly, I don't think they'd fire me, but I've been wrong before. I know my boss wouldn't but that may not be his call. The only place I have left to check is the foot of snow around where my car is parked. I actually went out and got a metal detector so I could check it tomorrow along with the path to my car. I may even go up to work and check around where the snow got piled up from when the cleared out the parking lot at work.
Damn my life is really sucking lately. I think I"m going to get really drunk now.
