Yeah, OK, I got sidetracked and didnt post to the CE board like wanted to. Oh well. As youve probably guessed Ive been preoccupied with my website. I created a You Tube channel and now have to decide what Im going to do with it. I think Im going to start doing movie and anime reviews and yes, I have the first one lined up; Konuichi: Lady Ninja. I dont want to use a webcam, thats just going to look crappy, but I also cant afford to get a new video camera. I do have an idea how do pull this off. I have an old VHS video camera I found at Goodwill a couple of years ago for $20. Ive used it in the past to play old video cassettes and record them on my DVR. In theory I should be able to plug it into my DVR and record directly from the camera. Then Id only have to rip the DVD to my computer and edit it, insert clips from the movie, add a title sequence, etc. The only thing I need to figure out is the rating system. It will go from one to five but I dont want to use stars; I want to come up with something different. Ive thought about using Bentos since I already have an icon but that doesnt seem right. Ill have to think about that and see what I can come up with.
Im also trying to figure out a way to get my site to start generating some income without turning it into nothing but a bunch of ads. I think what I may do is start creating things to sell on my Deviant Art page. Im probably going to start off small buy making a few postcards, maybe some magnets or a mug or two and see where I can go from there. I wish they did buttons, but they do make puzzles. I wonder what I could do with that
