Tonight I have embarked on an experiment; an experiment of exploration, an experiment of truth seeking and of, well alcohol. I am making up a batch of Skittles flavored vodka, specifically lime flavored. I found the recipe at Instructables.com but Ill save you the trouble of looking it up. You take one 750ml bottle of vodka and 185 Skittles (the same flavor or course) or a little more if you want a stronger flavor. Pour off a little of the vodka to make room for the Skittles, pour them in and let them dissolve for a day then strain off the white stuff that floats to the top and there you have it. Ill let you all know tomorrow how it turns out.
And now for the bitching part of tonights blog; And now I shall make a statement that may offend some. Ready? Good, here we go. I fucking hate Christians. Yes, thats right, I said it, I fucking hate Christians. Now before you start to cry and say it cant be so, hear me out. I have worked for the same office supply company for ten years in the copy shop. Now in that ten years Ive seem my share of assholes. You know the ones, they argue with you when you tell them they have to pay for their stuff, that you arent authorized to give them major discounts because all donations are done through a third party organization that your company has contracted with and otherwise try to get something for nothing. I would say that about 2/3 of the people who have done that over the past ten years have been working for churches, religious schools and other Christian businesses or organizations. Hell, I have even had a teacher from a Christian school blatantly steal self serve copies several years ago; she was stealing about $60 - $70 worth of copies every week until we nailed her on it. This week I had some clown email us an order for his Christian book store $150 worth of posters. I had talked to this guy a about getting posters done a couple of times before and how much it cost but he shits a brick when I ring it up. He starts complaining about how he wasnt expecting to be raped (and yes he used that term) and how I could justify the price. I told him that corporate tells us what to charge and that is how I justified it, and I did so in a tone that told him that he just crossed the line. I ended up giving him half off the price just so it wouldnt be a total loss, even though I lost a bit of money anyway. Dont get me wrong, I dont a problem with someone who asks if we give discounts for churches and stuff, thats no problem but when you bitch, moan, try to strong arm getting something for free or just plain stealing, youve pissed me off. Majorly; Oh and before you try to pass judgment on me (Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another ... -Excerpt from Romans 14:3) know this, I was a Christian, went to a Christian college and was a licensed minister.
Now back to other things. I still have no fucking idea how to build that airbrush station but Im focusing on other things at the moment and I hope that something comes to me soon. Until then Ill work on getting the rest of the supplies that I need. First things first I need to get my stencil material and start cutting my stencils. Im also looking into doing airbrush tanning; it kind of sucks because now would be the perfect time of year to work that business, but oh well.
