Well, it's Thursday and I am almost caught up from Monday at work. Yesterday I had a brief moment of joy, my friend Amber is looking for another job and I was going to try to get her on at work in my department, but alas, she can't take a job where she has to work nights. She just had a baby in October and can't get a sitter at night. Damn. The store manager told me that he might have someone to put back there. If I can get one good employee that will solve about 75% of the problems I'm having. I've lost half my employees since I've started and the only people I have left either can't work many hours or are just worthless. Oh well, to be honest this isn't anything I haven't dealt with before, I would just like to be able to get things going right so I can start implementing the changes and new promotions that I want to. I'm pushing back the go live date for steaming piles of tv.com a few weeks. At the moment I don't feel like writing reviews or being funny at the moment. And another thing, I want my damn car now. I am now driving a full size panel van this week. It's like driving a damn house. I am hoping that I get a call saying my car is finished and I can pick it up.
One good thing happened today, I found out we sell these teeny little hard cover notebooks, about 3 "x51/2". They are perfect for taking notes and writing down ideas for my magic. Yeah, I seem to remember being a magician about 300 years ago. I think I'll take it back up again.
I think I'm gonna spring for a bottle of Captain Morgan and forget the cheap crap this time.
