Well, no school for me.
I was driving up to the store and I got about a mile away when my car's engine just stopped. I tried starting it again and, of course, it wouldn't. I think it may be the fuel pump, I should know for sure tomorrow. Whatever it is going to cost me to get the car fixed I get to add $200 dollars to the amount for the tow. And all of that means I will have no money to pay my tuition August 5th. Damn.
At least my boss is being cool. For the next two weeks I'll have to share the van with my brother so I can only work until 7:30pm because I have to get back so my brother can leave for work at 8:15pm. Not only did he arrange it but he is going to try to cash out 20 hours of my vacation time to help pay for the car (I still have over three weeks of unused vacation time left). I do say try because he isn't entirely sure that the payroll program will let hem put in that much vacation time on top of 40 hours for the week.
Maybe I should just win the lottery. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
