Well I finely officially getting back to playing the guitar. I haven't played anything in years so I'm working on just getting my finger strength back again. Once I get my car worked on this week I'm signing up for lessons and Funky Munky music. Hell, you just gotta love a music store with that name LOL. I have also decided, in my infinite insanity of course, that I am going to do something I've always wanted to do; I'm building my own guitar. I just bought a warlock guitar body off eBay, it should be here this week. For now I think I'm going to get a inexpensive neck, just so I can get the thing built (I'm putting in a set of Seymour Duncan Blackout Active Humbuckers. I figure if you're going to the trouble of building your own guitar you might as well go all out. Later on I'll probably get a new neck from Warmoth. I also need to make sure the new neck is wider than the one on my current guitar, I have large hands and a small neck, doesn't make things easy to play. I also need to start looking for songbooks. I've been trying to find sheet music for Alice Cooper's Be With You Awhile but absolutely no luck. So far I've only gotten Poison and No More Mister Nice Guy. I'm sure I can figure the song out on my own but having the sheet music would just make life easier.
