why is love so hard sometimes?
at times it feels sort of like opening a vein for
someone else willingly and with absolutely nothing
expected in return. its the cycle of birth and death.

the wheel (of life) goes round and round like a record baby right round round round.

Don't mean to sound so nihilistic but in my personal experience, relationships when looked at from outside the box have almost always been one-sided. On the other hand, I'm a true believer in the concept of love so I don't let past sorrows get the best of me. Good Luck!

I was just writing the same thing in my journal yesterday, it does seem like unacceptable pain sometimes doesn't it? I had never equated it with birth and death before but it makes sense and that's a cruel but inevitable thing as well. I get more confused the more I think about it!
