whats funny to you and why?
sense of humor is critical because its a survival device.
i have a very finely developed sense of humor but it is not remotely mainstream.
whats funny to the masses might only get a smile or a slight chuckle from me.
for example, at the movies im frequently the only one laughing in the audiences
at hilarious things that only i seem to understand. perhaps the humor was "unintentional"
or i cant phatom the type of thinking that created the scenario in the first place or ive thought
of a better storyline and inserted it into the plot on my own. perhaps something else...

And then there is the off the wall sense of humor and the sheer audacity that comes with it I appreciate from people like lets say the lead singer of a local independent band yelling out to his fans I love all of you!!! If my dick could shoot chocolate chips like a machine gun right now Id cover you all with my love! R-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT-A-TA-TA!! Like I said Off the wall.
Dick and fart jokes only work on me when Im super tired and Dumb &Dumber the movie is the only comedy to ever make me laugh so hard my face hurt afterward. I happened to be super tired the night I watched it by the way. Evidently Im more susceptible to humor when Im relaxed or no critical thinking is involved.
A rapier wit works on me as well. Practical jokes are always good too. Scaring people with a Boo! around a corner is fun to watch. I have a brother that does this to his wife all the time. It never gets old.
Nothing like a good laugh too. I'm terribly attracted to them. If you have a great laugh I will love you forever. But that's just me.
