yet another computer peeve...

im sure youve seen the ad where the
pc and the mac face off and one is really
hip and cool the other square and boring.
im really tired of the debate and the bias
as for computers and operating systems.

sigh
its bs.

you see gentle reader, i go both ways and have
both a mac and pc. i see no significant
difference between the 2.
really.

case in point_im sure youve seen vista, m$'s
new operating system. if not, it looks seriously
like a mac wannabe to me.
its very "pretty" and multimedia friendly fluff.

another point, theres also the fact that
mac has now switched over to intel processors.
it seems macs intially proprietary and sometimes
pricetag prohibitive elitist hardware has undergone
some reconsiderations by the apple corporation.
lastly, the snobbery from some mac users ive
encountered is more than tedious.

as for pc and/or microsoft products being much
better, all im going to say is: internet exploder 7
(cough) now, i know microsoft ships
broken software all the time, but yet, just how
broken it is, is truely baffeling.

so rather than the boring broken record of the
brand name wars, (seen it, heard it, done it.
mac vs. pc blah, blah, blah) id rather see
an ad where the mac and pc fall in love and
get married. or at least show them getting in
bed together as this to me is more a accurate
representation of reality.

meh.
if i wanted a third option i could go the linux
route i suppose. however, gimp is not
photoshop, sorry.
