So she's like the queen of the friend zone, basically.
What happened to myths about hot, strong, powerful queens who got the approval they wanted, and had all they desired? And for fuck's sakes, if anyone's going to get turned into any kind of animal, let's not leave out tigers.... damn the greeks!

Wow. I've met a few people like that in my life. The attitude is understandable, though Perfection is unattainable, but yet we must always strive to achieve it. That can be confusing.
right-o.
so i guess changing my profile pic is out.
in that case, i have uploaded 2 new images
of myself for your edification.

i am not sure what has inspired this return

again very much to the first nick cave albumn
i ever heard. that being "your funeral...my trial."
i first heard this albumn nearly 20 years ago.
and while it may not be immediately accessable
to some... a deep appreciation for the
darker more brooding passionate feelings...

Evening
The sky puts on the darkening blue coat
held for it by a row of ancient trees;
you watch: and the lands grow distant in your sight,
one journeying to heaven, one that falls;
and leave you, not at home in either one,
not quite so still and dark as the darkened houses,
not calling to eternity with the passion
of what becomes a...

Wow. I'm not living my dharma, but I'm in the vicinity of it. For a long time I've felt that creating the right environment for the world (in all senses of the word) is what I was made for. So far, I have only worked on the margins of that goal, but I hope to change that soon. So if I had unlimited resources I would work towards that goal 24 hours a day.

You have officially blown my mind.
As for movies and movie-making, I just saw Bright Leaves on PBS and it was really interesting. It made me think of you and your new movie-making outfit. Ross McElwee seems to film whatever strikes his fancy and then weave it together into a really good documentary that he claims is about something specific but is really an exploration of himself. Very interesting to watch.
