and i happen to think lily is great name...
though some days i wish i would have named amelia 'olive' or 'olivia' instead.
also, my little sister used to be afraid of the vacuum when she was little, so the only way she got over it was by riding it while my mom vaccummed.
they became such good 'friends' that she named the vacuum penelope.
and NO ONE should be named after a vacuum. HAHAHAH

First. I think she looks SOOO much like you. I get a little emo sometimes because I feel like Tommy looks nothing like me. But I think it's just hard to see yourself in your little one.
Second. Do it. Why not? It will be a cool story to tell her one day. And hey - if she likes the old name better..then she can change it back.
Sidenote: There was a period in grade school where I completely changed the spelling of my name to something totally ridiculous. My teacher had to call my parents in for an intervention so I would stop writing this gibberish name on all my papers.
