yesterday was great... went down to birmingham to see the epic coheed and cambria in concert supported by thrice, and circa survive
i have to wonder what the desk receptionist thought when 2 young men appear at the hotel, with a room booked, and little luggage, appearing very casual
a welcome refreshment after the drive
needless to say double room, 2 guys, i decided id take the sofa when it came to sleep... it was wider than the bed was long anyways
we slipt out for some refreshments seeing as we had a few hours to kill until doors, id left my tripod behind thou
returned to the hotel to start the evening off with my current favourite poison
we found the venue easy after not that long a walk, stopping in a few pubs on the way. there was a huuuge queue thou so we decided to go back for a couple more which ment we ended up missing the opening band
the gig was incredible thou, and a fantastic sound, something ive not been used to recently... was well chuffed
dont remember the walk back that well, was a bit tipsy lol... somehow managed to catch myself off guard taking a photo thou
i awoke in the morning in a confused state to find myself on the floor, pretty sure that that wasnt whered id gone to sleep a few hours before, i determined id drunkenly rolled out in the night, and this would explain why my body hurt
sunrise at about 7.45am gotta put a parking fee in from 8am... neeeeed sleeep
drove home a few hours later and for some reason, still up now at 12.20 not feeling that tired, but rather sore
