As un-patriotic as it is, children don't give a fuck about Ronald Reagan's funeral. They just want to watch kids shows. Thank God Canada doesn't seem to give a fuck either. Either that, or they just know taking PBS kids shows off can make certain kids a little on the crazy side. My son doesn't have to watch tv, but we have sort of a little ritual when I'm not babysitting. He wakes up and I don't want to get my lazy ass out of bed. So he turns on the tv in my room and we snuggle. It works for us. He said the tv is ugly now. hehe. Well, we went into the livingroom because it gets CBC and its time for CBC Kids. Yep. Thank you, Canada 
Its my father's birthday today. 57 years ago today my father was born in Enumclaw, WA. 2 times a year I light candles for him. On his birthday and on the anniversary of his death. I'm burning them now, but I'll have to blow them out before too long as I'm actually getting out of the house today.
