The story of my name change.

My former best friend became my brother's girlfriend. She's one of those girls who is only nice to you when shit is going wrong in your life. It makes her feel better about her crappy life (of her own making).

I was on a mommy board under my own name. I had a link to said page in my web page. She found it. Made an account and didn't use her name. It was a Hippy Mama site for pete's sake! She is anything BUT a hippie. So, she went on to take all my info and feed it to this one blabbermouth girl, the girlfriend of my ex's room mate (sorry if that one is confusing). They both would twist things around and tell my ex the tallest tales with just enough truth for it to seem realistic. Also, she flat out started bad mouthing me. All the while, in real life, she was acting as sweet as pie. The blabbermouth girl started threatening to sue the owner of the board for some stupid shit. I didn't WANT these people there, I didn't WANT the drama, but these two girls together ruined a wonderful online community that I loved. People on the boards stopped talking to me. They admitted I did nothing wrong but it was just too much of a mess to want to deal with. I can't say I blame them.

So, I came up with a fake name.. elan austere. Sounds like a real name but it was just a couple words out of the dictionary. So, I created my LiveJournal, dumped my mommy group and other than LJ stopped posting anything anywhere... till now. I started seeing how LJ is everywhere and I know how much my ex is a sucker for ameture porn. So, I changed my name. The chances of anyone finding me were slim before, but who wants to take any chances. I do *not* want to bring drama to the friends I meet online.

So, I stepped a bit back into paranoia and here I am... back to elan.
