I've been too crampy today to do much. I got way more done today than yesterday. At least all my laundry is sorted. I think I'll incorporate the 3 baskets flylady tip when I get back to America.
You should see how small my washing machine is here. It's freaking nuts. I'm use to an industrial size washer. All the washers on this side of the pond are ridiculously small. I've never seen a big one over here. I think it will be soooo much easier to get my washing done when I get back.
Sounds like we had a similar childhood too. Whoa. Actually one of my main complaints of having to do housework now is the fact that as a 9 year old I was scrubbing floors and doing tons of laundry and cooking dinner almost every night for 6 people.~ After dinner was over- me or my sister would have to clean up. No one took their plates to the sink or cleaned anything off the table. My sister's two years younger than me.
So- you know that's some fuckt up shit. Did I mention I was raised on a Goat Ranch? So- we also had to take care of all the animals n shit. It would have been such a character building thing for us- had both the people taking care of us been slightly worth a shit as a parent. My step-mom sat around every single day smoking out till she couldn't do anything. Her ass was permanetly stuck to the couch. :sureal: She was pretty much oblivious to all the fucT up shit our biological father was doing to my sister and I on the side. He's a bit on the sick side. I always wondered what the fuck was so hard about breaking a sicko cycle. It's not really that hard to be a rockin parent. I wish alot of the people in this world would try giving it a shot. There'd be alot less Jeffery Dalmers of the world. Ya know?

Sorry about your man being gone. It seems like we'll be in the same boat soon. I think the kids and I are taking off in about a week. If the other tickets come through~ we'll come back. On a happy note~ we are getting 11 grand back in taxes this year. Thats f*ing nutts! I'm so f*ing excited. I'm going to get some new pieces of furniture. I was already planning on getting new sofa's and a new diningroom set but now maybe I'll get some other pieces I've been wanting. Whoot! We've never gotten more than a grand or two back in taxes. Leaving the country totally rocks.

Do you do those creative memory parties too? I've only been to one of those- but I liked it. I usually do my own books but they have great ideas. I'm dieing to get to a craft store. You don't even know! All the craft places I've seen here are weak other than the bead place and the fabric place. I need a Michaels or a Ben Franklins or a craft wharehouse or somethin'.
Oh another Party I use to like to go to was Country Peddlers. I think they changed their name. Their home fragrances smelled so good and their shelves and stuff were so damn cute. I bought too much of that stuff. $$$$$$
