NYE was ok, as per usual. We watched the fireworks from Millbank, then drank the champagne my boss gave me for Christmas.
Work is really, really boring at the moment. I hope the lady's corsetry business takes off, then I can ask for a job.
There's a gig in Dublin next Tuesday in memory of a friend of mine who died last year. I hope I can go but it would involve getting the red eye back for work on Wednesday, which I hate doing (I once did it from New York - absolute hell).
My birthday is on Thursday but my Dad's coming over for the weekend so activities will be planned with him in mind. On Friday we're going to a jazz place in Soho, Saturday to Kensington Roof Gardens and Sunday to the LSO. I'm still getting banjaxed at all of them though, especially at the symphony.
