today, back to school. i'm glad its starting again. the break made me restless.
i just realized i have that rodney dangerfield movie, "back to school". i think i'll have to watch that today.
oh yeah, sinuses are still brimming with infection... skull

haha. i'm laughing because i'm about to start working on my homework that's due for class later this week and i remembered that i had just tivo'd "Old School" yesterday with intentions of watching it tonight.

hello my new friend!

i'm currently shooting digital on a sony f717 (but hoping for the 828 soon) with over 9,000 images taken to date. i switched for the same reasons - couldn't afford the processing - also i liked the idea of instant gratification. plus the benefits of things that you can shoot digital and not have to worry about whose developing the film! haha. i do love my digital camera, but there's something about real film that i miss... I have a canon eos that is (sadly) gathering dust, a canon rebel for the quick and easy shots with the opportunity for quick manual override which is also currently gathering dust, and a 20 year old minolta that's all manual and has the best optics. takes stunning photos - particularly outdoor. the flash connection is busted and the lens connection points have some nearly stripped screws so i only take that out on really special occasions (like if i'm shooting a portrait for someone which doesn't happen too often.)

do you have prints developed or do you just print them? where do you get them developed? what kind of printer? (i'm always curious to know what others like)
prs2000:
wow i'm just writing a novel in your journal!

i've got an epson printer too which i like a lot. i've had prints made through MacOS X iphoto which actually turned out great - they actually were processed by apple via ofoto.com and i was happy with the results for basic prints. I'd like to do some enlargements to see if how it handles those.

i get what you say about expensive hobbies. it's crazy how quickly the dollars add up in that regard... and i never seem to win that damn powerball!

another boring new years. there is no fucking way i'm gonna be driving around this dump tonight. medford is the drunk driving capitol of oregon. traffic all day tonight was nuts. too many idiot drivers.
i think its time to throw on some movies and chill.

we got a new singer today, our good friend gabe. i'm stoked. kick-ass singer, fun guy to hang with and 100% dedicated to the band.
tonight is particularly boring. interweb gets boring fast and nothing on TV. the weather is shitty, so a walk or bike ride is out too.
time to go down the phone list and call people. i gotta get outta the...

I thought that was you, I recognized the guitar. I saw you guys pay a long time ago at Dance FX, you sounded fucking awesome.
Anyway If you want to hitch a ride to Eugene I'm sure everyone would love to meet you. I'm ether going with my friends Ian (he was in Something Casual) and Naomi in their car. Or by myself in my dads BMW. Ether way there's only one seat available. Or if you want to drive yourself or drive me (I can pay for gas) thats cool also.

Fuck dude are you really 32? You don't look it.
dr_ew:
It matters. Do you want to go to CD stores or any thing? I'll send you my phone number. You can call me tomorrow any time after 2:00 p.m.. Or I'm going to go to the show at musichead.

i had a dream last night that was odd, as they don't happen that often. i was hanging out with my friend eric, who passed away 12 years ago. i have only had 4 of these dreams, all of them long, detailed and vivid. the first, right after he died, him explaining to me where he was going. i met him at a sort of...
