It was a nice break from the madness which is the runup to the silly season. For some reason, I find myself surrounded by people who a running to the right in terms of lifestyle. It must be the holidays - at least I sure hope so.

Her boyfriend is all for it, he just sees it as an excuse for a big party and lots of free stuff. To him, it will change nothing.
