Things are quickening for sure. I go in Thursday for Lasik eyes correction. Then in January I'll be headed to LA for three months for work, a few weeks of to visit friends then off to Peace Corps (if all goes well). That's it in brief.
I've done a lot of research on Lasik and I think I'm ready. I'm scared as hell for my vision to get f'd up, but my chances are really good to come out of it w/o complications. I'll post a few days after for an update.
LA will be interesting. I'm not a fan of the city, but the money is good. I'll be working bout 80 hrs/wk in a tax office in Sherman Oaks. Having a life while there isn't much of an option, but if there's any members reading this that want to show me why LA should exist, drop me a line and we can head out for a drink.
