Today is June 8th, but! It is also Barrett Page's birthday. One thing that I admire about my boyfriend's birthday is that he was born in June of 1986. Thus, making his birthday 6886. A lot cooler than my birthday number set which is 52689, but the 26 is cool with me. I have always been lucky with 26. Speaking of twenty-something, I'm 20! Ooooh ("Goodbye teen years? Are you glad to be 20?") Yeah, but I've always felt older than that, and I really don't feel free of the awkward years because I still have to speak eee when asked my age. 19teeeeen, Twent(eeee)y. ::Shrugs:: Twenteeeyone Thirteeeeyseven sounds better than Twenteeeey.

I really didn't do much on my birthday, and we probably won't do much on Barrett's birthday.

Our roommate Patrick did take Barrett and I both out on May 26th to celebrate my date of birth, to little a Thai joint located in a side of the highway shopping mall. The owner's name was cookie, and she was instantly offended by the array of women's asses in thongs on Patrick's shirt but let us eat there anyways. Our tab came up to $50-something, I thought it was pretty ridiculous but no one said anything. We were the only one's in this small restaurant (the size of a donut shop). The tables had bright yellow table cloths, the walls were covered in picture's of the owner and groups of stranger's with some pretty bad portraits. The food was... meh, But we ate hungrily anyways and told her it was good because she kept asking. Barrett had asked for chop sticks with me, and when we began to use them she quickly rushed over and corrected us. (Hey, we may not use them correctly, but we use them in a way that is comfortable) But it was the way that she tried to correct us that was strange, instead of verbally telling us, she had to physically show us, and then feed us. Quite awkward. We didn't know what to do, but since we were the only ones in the restaurant with her, we kind of just said, "oh-kay....?" Then she went on to explain how in her country they don't use chop sticks and that it is mainly the Chinese that do. (duh) But then she went on to say that using chopsticks was lazy/sloppy in her culture. So we just set the sticks down and continued with the forks. Yep, for my big 20th birthday I was fed by a Taiwanese woman.

On June 5th I had anchors pierced into my skin.

I'm a bit dissapointed that they didn't have disks, so I chose black gems instead, and it looks kind of.. unfeminine?
Can't wait to order some genuine stone from BAF

How pretty are those? Quite feminine. smile

June must be a pretty big month because this Friday I'll be visiting my family/friends/ghosts that I haven't seen in Twenteeeeytwo months. My mom knows that I'm coming because well, she's my mom. But, none of my friends know, and I really hope they're glad to see me, I mean to say I hope they're surprised. Because I know they'll be happy to see me. I'm excited to see them. BUT THEY DON'T KNOW SO SHHHHHH. I shouldn't even be saying anything. Oklahoma will claim me back on June Twenteeeyseventh, and I already miss California as though I just went there and left. I want to go back to the mountains, the beach, the desert, the city, I can't wait to visit it all. When I move from places, it's more often that I miss what the land had to offer more than my own friends.

hmm.
I don't believe I ever introduced my new Goblin and his friend (yet to be named)
This is goblin:
