I'm exhausted from moving.
No, I didn't move.
My mom moved out on my dad last month; and he moved out of my childhood home this weekend. It was time to get my crap out of their house (I mean, really, using your parents house for storage is so wonderful!). I pulled my bed, my bikes, rocking chairs, childhood memories, and I still have to go back and get a dresser.
The saddest part of it all is this; my parents had three cats. Kitty went with my mother; I think Charlie will be at my dad's shortly; but Bob is still there.
I want Bob so bad but I can't have cats in my apartment. Hoochie is at Nick's right now. I was reduced to tears when I went to go get my bed and Bob was sitting, sad and lonely, in my old closet. He needs a home! PLEASE. He's older, a beautiful calico cat, very shy but sweet... I love him to pieces. He's 12 or 13; my youngest sister rescued him. He had been an old man's cat and the old man died of a heart attack. The man's wife was overcome with grief and really was not an animal person and threatened to shoot the cat, point blank, in the head so she would stop being reminded of her husband everytime he came around. The cops were called to this domestic disturbance right next door to my sister's friends house and my sister came over, swooped up the cat, and saved him from almost certain death.
It just seems like Bob is the kitty no one wants...
I want someone to want him like I do! Poor Bob...
so if anyone is interested in having Bob BEFORE THE END OF JUNE, please please please please please please call me and I will get him to you. I don't want Bob put to sleep as a result of the disintegration of my parents' marriage.... enough people have already suffered the wrath of that....
please....
