So I have to be at the fire station in an hour, where they will feed me free food and then I will be taunted a second time.
Anyways... let's see. I'm boring these days, but I'm off of vacay now and back to work. That means I worked 3 ten hour days, have today and tomorrow off, and then I resume my million hour a week schedule.
So, I am thinking of changing up industries. The problem with this is that I've been in banking for 5 and a half years now- since the end of May in 2001. So... I really don't know what else is out there. I was thinking of hunting down a technical writing position or just finding an editing position somewhere.
I don't know.
I'm open to suggestions. I'd like a job that makes more than I make now and involves using my degree, without me having to go back to school. The problem with that is... I can teach at a private school, but even they are cracking down on certifications, or I can go work for the CIA.
And while I think being a CIA agent would be pretty sweet, I'm sure it would freak entirely too many people out and I'm not so sure I want my employer to know of my private escapades.
Nonetheless... that's about it for now.
A million and a half Christmas parties, a discontent with my coworkers, and a depression about everything I've lost on my old computer.
Oh, and I quit drinking.
Either that, or I can't remember the last time I drank.
