For the first time, ever, I actually know what TGIF means...
But starting in a few weeks, I have to work Saturdays again, and that sucks ass. The cool thing about it is that my branch is getting closer to opening, and I'm starting to get excited about it. When we do open, I would love for all of my semi-local friends to stop by and hang out for a bit- there's going to be a lot of games and things for our open and a lot of prizes and stuff, and you get to see yours truly look like a grandma in my uniform.
In other news, my family reunion is tomorrow and I'm up in arms about whether or not I want to go. It's my mom's side of the family, and we've never been really close. My mom has one surviving relative of her immediate family and a half sister out in Rhode Island, but her cousins are usually a lot of fun. As I get older, I seem to have a little bit more appreciation for them. However, all of my cousins are at least 10 years older than me, are married and have children, and I am nowhere near having that. It just always makes me feel like I need to rush to catch up; but the truth of the matter is that I'm not entirely sure that's an appropriate reaction.

I am asked (FORCED) to work one Saturday a month. Today was that Saturday and believe me when I say, "I LOATHE WORKING SATURDAYS". I'm glad there's an upside to your working there, that you're opening soon. Now if I just knew what you did.
