So kids...I have been busy...I went to Switch last night, where the hell were all of you?
Anyways... This week was amazingly sucky. I mean, REALLY bad. And... at the same time really good.
-I filed for graduation.
-I figured out how to file indepenently for my financial aid.
-I feel old and tired.
-I am poor once again.
-Going to the Shabby Thanksgiving because I miss my Ohio friends!
-I have been reading a lot.
I want to write a novel...been setting up the story in my head.
A short poem:
The Glasses
My favorite things in this world are the small and mundane
quite like these frosted cracked glass windowpanes
through which I view this world.
And the minature pink figurines that sit on the ledge
right next to the blue violets so unabashedly dead
and leaving green and brown bits to speckle the white paint
or small lost lenses that have long given me
the misfortune and ability
to see the sun setting so early.
Another day
gone.

life is just a never ending cycle of good and bad....and then we get glasses so we can actually SEE the bad.
