yesterday at work was sufjan stevens day. and it was awesome. i got all these rich old ladies and soccer moms from atlanta hooked on the soon-to-be-out-of-fucking-print illinois. all that fuss over a little bitty picture of superman.
we sold all of our copies by 10 this morning. i'm not sure if we'll get it back in. i love the cartoon of john wayne gacy on the foldout. creepy.
and at 3:30 we listened to one of the most entertaining "all things considered" about sufjan stevens, woodpeckers, and rednecks. it was equally funny (the interviews) and beautiful (the song). even after the success of sufjan day, i was quite bummed out about a certain someone. my good friend david fixed that with a trip to a local crap bar. so thanks david.

prefuse 73 reads the books EP (out on july 12th. you bitches better buy it.)
