jesus, i barely know what day it is. i've been asleep most of the last 48 hours for no good reason other than i didn't have anything better to do, and i have no booze. i gotta get out of this place.
perhaps i should just rent a car under a false name, fill it up with drugs hunter s. thompson-style and drive the motherfucker as fast as possible to new orleans. pick up my friend and some gas in mobile and never look back. after some time in new orleans just spend the next 5 years of my life as a professional drifter. end up in europe by 2008. spend several years in paris talking to myself and any passers-by on a curve outside a record shop. move to weimar or dresden and end up a tired old man. yeah, great plan.
nah, that plan hinges too much on my willingness to give people blow jobs for rides and plane tickets. not my cup of tea. better just to stay put for the next few months and then move to tallahassee. i'll make friends with all the homeless people at the shelter across the street from the university.
i'm really curious about the up-coming brendan benson album. hope it doesn't suck.
