boy, lately i've been busier than a bangkok whorehouse. work today wasn't so bad (except for the incessant banter of the thirtysomething women buying shopaholic books). worthless.
yesterday, after sleeping only two hours early in the previous evening, i drove to gainesville and back. a total of 9 1/2 hours on the road and about 7 hours actually in town was quite impressive with little to no sleep. with such a trip i had good music to keep my ass awake.

what kept my eyes open:

annie anniemal (this is fucking awesome. the black michael jackson would approve; good pop. fuck off kylie minogue.)

ratatat ratatat (i think one of their songs is used in a hummer ad(?))

johann johannsson englabrn (though it actually lulled me near sleep, i fucking love this!)

franoise hardy chansons damour (another frenchy whom i am into. she was fucking hot, too, and a great singer)

the foreign exchange connected (good soulful hip-hop)

on a final note the student slums in g'ville surrounding UF just aren't as impressive as those in tallahassee. now that's grade-A collegiate trash!
