Two things.
Thing the First
I live smack in the middle of the 3rd largest city in these United States. Each and every night, my lights are the last ones on for a couple of blocks in every direction.
Thing the Second
About 90 minutes ago, I was in my house, doing whatever it is I do, here. I realized that my right arm was a bit sore and asked mysef
'Hey Morgan- what's the deal with the arm?'
After a moment's pause, it all came together as it dawned on me that I got tattooed yesterday. I went to the shop to talk to Miles about my backpiece, and decided to get a piece added to my Dad's arm. I got to meet Rollo (Mike Malone) while I was there. He's been doing flash for the shop, and is consulting on my backpiece, which Miles is actually going to do. I thought I knew some grizzled old tattoo folk before. This guy's the real deal. I don't know what I was expecting, but he was pretty cool. We joked about a couple of the bad tattoos I have, played a couple hands of 5 card stud and talked about my back. Very cool. He took off, and Miled did his thing on my arm.
Is it a sign that I have too many tattoos when I start forgetting about one that is less than 24 hours old?

yeah, it is a serious trip the move and the snow like never before and the challenges it presents and driving to work seeing (i swear i counted) along a highway distance of 20 miles, quite literally 19 cars that had slid off the road into the snow covered median or the side of the road. many abandoned, some with people still in them. at 8:30am.
and me in my little rear wheel drive truck with bags of concrete in the back because they were out of sand, thinking, "shit, and they've got kansas license plates. they've actually driven through this shit before!"
