I decided to change my profile pic. I've used the same one since joining, and was due for a change. Moreover, I figured I should try using a picture of myself.

This was taken in the old dining room at The Berghoff in Chicago by Sara, one of my oldest and dearest friends. I think it looks almost pious.




Any Chicago people who have never been, you're missing out. Anyone visiting, you must go. Great German food. They make their own beer (well) in addition to their own bourbon. The food is simple and fantastic. While choices may be somewhat limited, vegetarian dining is also an option. If you're vegan - have a drink.

Also of note-
I'm going to be in Portland next week for a few days. I've never been, but the pictures I've seen certainly look nice. Truth be told, I've never been west of the Mississippi. An X of mine just moved out there with her (now) fiance. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing her. She's always a breath of fresh air. This trip will definitely be a welcome departure from (most of, though not all of ) what I've been doing. It's time for one steady job instead of 3-5 sporadic ones. Structure, in moderation, can be a good thing.

Hopefully the new suits will be done by the time I leave. I'd really like to make a grand entrance. I've got the pyrotechnics and choreography all worked out. Now I just need to take care of wardrobe, and I'll be ready.
