My dear friend Archie recently suggested that I needed to start blogging. I knew she was serious because she used a lot of caps, and mentioned comics. Comics are what I do, and so comics are what I shall blog about!

First though, a little about me so that you know I'm not just talking out of my ass. I am currently 29, live in Montreal, and have been in love with comics and graphic storytelling my entire life. I started with Archie comics (ironically) when I could barely read and I haven't put them down since.

I am the co-owner and manager of a comic shop here in Montreal called The 4th Wall. We're a different kind of comic shop, in that we work hard to break the conventions of your average comic store. In our shop you will find no clutter, no dust, friendly service and plenty of light. It's Apple-Store-Meets-Comic-Store, and built on getting you the stuff you want.

I also host a weekly radio show called The Watchtower. It can be accessed every Wednesday (new comic day) through iTunes, and every Friday night at 11pm can be heard on Newstalk 1010 in Toronto.

I also write and publish No Reason Comics with my long-time friend and creative partner Dan Simon. We put up 3 strips a week (M-W-F) and have self-published 2 books of our work.

So, as you can see, I'm pretty into this whole comics thing. It was actually at a comic convention where I first met the lovely Vesta and the aforementioned Archie who are fantastic SG's and even better friends.

So, I'm going to start getting my blog on. Mainly because in the safety of the SG World I can pretty much say and do anything I want. I like that about you guys. Also, my other passion in life is Tattooing, and I've been lucky enough to have 2 of my closest friends grow up to be incredible Tattooists. So you can see why I was drawn to SG. I've been hanging out for a while, getting the lay of the land, but I'm ready now to jump in with both feet!
