Done lots of studying lately. Also worked on my professional responsibility exam. It is 12 typed pages so far. Who knows how long it will end up, since most of that is just issue spotting.
The nice thing about exams is that I really get to miss out on the holiday season. I have become even more disenchanted with it this year than I ever have before. Just lots of things that people don't need, being bought by people who don't have the money to purchase these things anyways. Since I'm not a christian, the whole thing baffles me even more. I feel really sorry for kids who are taught to believe in santa claus. I see no point in lying to children so you can give them more presents, only so later they can learn that their parents are liars, as is everyone else.
No heaven, no hell, no god, no devil, no santa claus, no easter bunny, no ghosts, no fairys, no life after death, no reincarnation, nothing at all except this very moment right now. Nothing exists in the past, and nothing exists in the future. There is only this exact moment, and that is all there will ever be. You have no idea how truly happy that makes me.
