I'm trying to get a group created just for people on my friends list, so all my friends can get to know eachother better, it's my way of bringing people together, and it'll grow as we add all of your friends and so on and so on...

I think it's a great idea. I've met some cool people on here just being a newbie and lurking in the noob threads. Having a group would be a great way for folks to come together over a common interest and share.
