OK...I'm done w/packing...I think. My bestest friend is picking me up at 6am to take me to the airport so I can fly to fabulous Las Vegas!!! We got cheap upgrades to first class so free drinks all the way over! Yay!
This respite could not come at a better time. I need so much to get the hell away from here. The boy and I had a very emotionally draining conversation that went from late last night and continued early this morning...Nothing new on my end...just re-telling him things that have been eating away at me heavily for over a year now...(but they are things that are the result of a very unchanging 10 year relationship!) He is so good with selective memory and denial! These were the same issues we have gone over before several times!!! He really did think that just by "giving it time" that these things would just resolve themselves with out any changes being made! Time doesn't really change things in this case...change changes things!
I hate hurting him...but all this shit is killing me. I need things to be very different...
At least I have 3 days of escape ahead of me...bring on the cocktails!!!
