Saw a sneak preview of The Butterfly Effect last night...It was better than I expected. Amy Smart gave good "performances"...and Kutcher was good too. I feel bad that it was hard for me, sometimes, to look at him objectively since I'm so used to his comedic roles. I was afraid it was going to be hard to take him seriously as a dramatic actor...but he did a pretty good job...
The overall idea of the movie was pretty interesting...heard it in relation to chaos theories before...anything more thought provoking than the average Cineplex fair is ok by me!
Anybody rent any outstanding films lately? Let me know...
p.s. I added 2 new pictures of my boys...

The reviews for the movie have trashed it, so Im glad to hear from someone normal who has seen the movie.

I really love the concept of the movie, I know it has been done before, but it is a cool concept.

I like the original story by Ray Bradbury "A Sound of Thunder"

Thanks for the movie suggestion for this weekend.

I think you're right about the SGB show--word of mouth is already pretty strong. And yes, it will indeed be cool to meet people face to face....

Recent movies? Lost in Translation was really pretty good--I know everyone's saying that, but this time it's true! Rented Memento the other night; it's still good, but really different the second time. As you would expect.

Say, doesn't your town have that big silvery AFI theater? What's that like?
