Yay! I'm so happy. I have had four people come crawling out of the woodwork today with four possible job interviews. I'm not qualified for them, but at least the offers are finally starting to show up. Hopefully I will be in a new job by the end of the month.

I spent the entire day in bed today talking on the phone with people...

The New Year came and the world didn't end...was a little disappointed by that, but I can live with it for now.

It was actually strange when it dawned on me that I have now been a part of this site for two years. It just seems unreal.

Back to work tomorrow. Hoping for a new job to go with the new year soon.
calina:
yeah, the same feelings occured around Y2K....

I agree with your comment about Troy: how it was ultimately the God's interference. there are some good older mythological movies that I used to watch. although, I have forgotten their names.
well, there's Clash of the Titans....

I actually ended up purchasing an annual ticket to the aquarium. it was only $55 as compared to the $22 it costs for one visit. however, I still have yet to do the behind the scenes tour.

and, I have seen Ulysses. that one is also a classic. smile

Stolen from Salome

1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Told my dad what I really thought of him.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes, and yes (have made the same resolution for the past 11 years, why stop now)

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes...

Yeah, at the time I hated that apartment. It had NO closets. The skylight let too much cold air in. The neighbor across the hall had roaches. I had to walk my trash around the block to toss it out.

But now I miss it so.

Happy New Year's! kiss

hey there fellow ATLien! what type of trance music do you like? i mean, like do you have any favorite producers/remixers or dj's?

i am all into mythology so it's cool that you like Homer's Illiad and the Odyssey. i can't believe how many people don't understand or have never even heard of it. did you like the movie Troy?
also, the writings of Edgar A. Poe are definitely treats biggrin .

happy new year!

One more day until five days of freedom. I was able to talk my supervisor into giving me this Wednesday and next Sunday off. So I will have five glorious days of hanging out with my friends, eating food, and playing video games. Pretty much a perfect weekend. smile

I got an Atari Flashback 2 console for Christmas. It is so absolutely cool. I have been...

I am such a nerd. I picked up the Serenity movie on DVD today and have already watched it twice normally, once with the commentary track, all of the extras, all of the extras with commentary, and found the easter egg on the DVD. All in all it was a good way to blow an entire day. The sad part is that I am going...

So the week has gone by in a fog. I attempted to go to work on Sunday and Monday, but the pain decided that I needed to come home. Thankfully the doc gave me some wonderful drugs to combat mean mister pain.

Today is the first day that I haven't had a sharp stabbing pain, so tomorrow means going back to work.

So I was setting around today enjoying my day off, when suddenly I started feeling a pressure in my lower right back. At first I thought I had simply slept wrong and had tweaked a muscle or something along those lines. As the day continued the pain began to increase. Finally it got to the point that I couldn't handle it any more and headed...
