Okay now I just want to fucking cry. I have a beautiful cherry blossom tree that grows in front of my house that had spread out to the point that it almost completely obscured the front of my house.

The problem with it was that it grows directly above my driveway and some branches had started creeping their way into the path of my car when I pulled in and out of my garage. So I spoke with the people who do my lawn care and they informed me that they could "trim" the tree back.

I woke up this morning to the sound of a chainsaw. I looked out and saw that they were cutting the offending branch off and was very happy. Then the chainsaw kept running and I saw that they were chopping up the branch and I was happy. Then the chainsaw kept running and I looked and saw that they had cut down half of the tree. So now I have this huge open gap where I once had a beautiful lush green foliage.

I spoke with the owner of the company who told me he thought that was what I wanted. I went over again with him exactly what I told him last week (which was cut off the branches that I'm running into with my car) and he explained that was what he told his crew to do. Except instead of doing the intelligent thing and cutting just where they were dangling down he had them cut all the way back to the trunk.

I am so fucking pissed off right now.
