Been working on a mixtape for what seems like a month, but has only been a week. There is always a timeframe with mixtapes, meaning that if you don't finish it quickly, you begin to lose your desire to even create it. That's how I usually feel, but this one is different. This one is important. This tape sums up how I've felt for many...

Okay. Good answers. biggrin

Nah, I haven't seen that movie, but it sounds like something I would like. I'll have to put it on my list of things to rent someday. smile

As far as I recall, I didn't read/watch anything which would explain that dream. It just came to me. Sometimes I can tell where my dreams came from, but not this one. Scary.

I've found that too, about getting just to the point of getting the answers or the power, or whatever...and then being interrupted. Maybe we're just not supposed to get all the answers all at once. Maybe it's too much for us to handle, so we have to get them piece by piece, learning slowly.

For the first time in many moons I spent a lot of time around people this weekend. I must confess that I am a very intimate person. I like groups of 4 or 5 people or fewer. Anything more than that makes me feel invisible and uncomfortable. I suppose that's the leo in me begging for attention.

Yesterday I went down to the arts festival...

that was awesome! one of my favourite things to do is people watch. i could sit and do it for hours. its one of my favourite things about toronto, there's so much diversity. i love watching body language and how expressive it is and people don't even realize it.

freshly washed anything is amazing... hair or skin.

so you like mullets? biggrin i used to work in a music store in brantford (which i think is the mullet capital of southern ontario) and i'd always get a little shiver up my spine seeing a dad, a mom and their two kids come into the store all with matching mullets.

oh baby. shorty-longbacks 4 life.

I'm feelin smurfy, the weekend is almost here!

All work and no play makes Eddie a dull boy.

I'm smiling because I have so much to say, but my fingers don't feel like talking right now... does this ever happen to you?

Then sometimes my fingers are alive and they click click click away, but I have absolutely nothing to say.

Life is funny that...

yes - i actually think it is an improvement over the original, and that is not to say that the whole albums is, although i do really like that version of "the walk" too. smile

Yeah I'm in a bit of a slump. The past few months have been weird and busy, then I had to come back home, which is kind of normal to do a whole lot of nothing. I just have to think it's temporary, and enjoy the videogames and lazy time for now.
No work is boring, and too much is not good, where is the middle, I haven't found it yet.

I often wish I had more time to listen to all the music, and see all the movies, and read all the books I want to.

Even if I quit my job and gave myself that extra 40-50 hours a week, I'd never be able to do it.

Such is life I guess... you're always playing catch-up. There's always someone hipper, smarter, cooler, richer, better...

Sometimes I wonder where the air begins and the breathing ends. Why are our bodies so limited, while our minds are limitless?

It reminds me of the tortoise and the rabbit in that race. Maybe one day our bodies will ketchup.
