How about this one: Superintendent James WIlliams: One of the Worst Disasters to Hit Buffalo.

The man has f'd up my insurance right at a time when I need it the most. mad Grr. And he makes my father and his colleagues look bad to the entire community. What about truth? Doesn't that matter anymore?

Ok... sorry for the gripe, tongue , hope all is well with you!

I'm going through so many changes lately. As you can imagine with many changes comes a range of emotions. Lately I find myself on the opposite ends of the emotional rainbow. Sometimes I find myself feeling Violet, other times quite Red. When I'm out in the sun for too long, too much color can lead to sunburn. The same is true with my emotional rainbow....

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

The un-neighborly neighbor dilemma seems to plague many. Then, throw in a slum-lord "watching" over the situation, and it can even become worse. Running is an expensive option, but I've been through it several times. From the few times I have had to live with others, the most important thing I have learned is to check out what wherever they are residing now looks like, because that is undoubtedly how your shared dwelling will become - unless you make some ground rules beforehand, it can become ugly. The positive is that it can be fun and far cheaper at times. And....speaking of change...nothing is forever, so if it doesn't work out, then you roll along again. smile

Lately I've been tired. I've been dealing with an assortment of nagging physical injuries, but I badly want to avoid sitting around for a week or two to heal completely. Although, if I must than I must. The latest has been the worst one in a while though as I've strained my hamstring. I've never had a hamstring injury before. It's an interesting sensation to...

I'm looking out my window and the rain begins to fall. I'm over 1,000 miles away from New Orleans and less than 48 hours after them, I'm getting the smallest fraction of rain that they received from the same weather system. These past few days my thoughts have been with those in the Gulf. Every moment at home I watch CNN or any other channel...

I feel like such an outcast. I don't think anyone's ever understood me. My whole life I've never been part of the crowd, never fit in. You often hear cliches like "everyone is an individual" or "everyone is different". I believe those things, I really do but I'm still on the outside looking in when many other people are enjoying life together... or so it...

Thank you for thinking of me. My family is more or less evacuated, but this is just a horrific event. I'm very sad and I keep thinking of more things to be sad about. frown

I found an old poem that I had written in about 4th grade. It was about a lone star sparkling in the sky that everyone called weird. She felt proud, nonetheless.

I found this poem yesterday and am still wondering about my developmental trajectory. I might post it in my journal sometime.

I've been feeling really squirrely lately. I wonder if it's Fall whispering in my ear. Does the change of season ever impact you in such a way? Does the change in the environment, the weather, or amount of daylight make you antsy? This seems to happen to me a handful of times a year. The old routine needs a bit of tweaking. I need a...
