I have much on my mind, so let's go go go!
-Yes I did finish watching all 6 Star Wars movies in order. It took a little over 2 weeks, but hey I'm not 16 anymore.
-I continue to renovate my old website. I've bought more storage space and had the ads removed, so now it's simply me there, not me and the penis coloring system, or the dating network that I don't endorse looming over my every thought. I'm a crazy perfectionist so I won't post a link to it until I finish updating everything. Also, there's a ton of sappy pain filled stuff regarding my last relationship, so I gotta clear out most of that too. It's been over a year since I had touched it until this week. According to my task list, I still have 5 sections to update, but considering that there were nearly 20 pages/sections to update when I started, I think I'm making marked progress. ETA: this weekend, possibly Saturday.
-I'm finally taking a mini-vacation, but a vacation nevertheless from work. I haven't taken a real break from work since April 2004, so I think I'm due. I am gonna have a 5-day weekend during the last weekend of June. I'm gonna use some paid vacation days and sandwich a weekend into 120 hours of freedom. What shall I do with said freedom? I'm gonna start a revolution of course... and you're all coming with me. Well, either that or take a camping trip where it shall be me, some good friends, a pen, a lotta paper, a digital camera, a hibachi, smiles, some stars and bugs. It'll be great I tell you, great.
-My boss is leaving town this weekend, so I get to be in charge for a week and a half at work. It sounds like a mild challenge, and I love challenges. I'll get a chance to show myself and maybe some others why I deserved that promotion to assistant manager I received 3 weeks ago. Bring it on!
-I find myself writing a ton lately. Think of my writing and inspiration lately as a bottle of Windex. You know how the nob thingy has 3 settings? There's off, spray and stream. Well right now, my mind and the writing is set to "spray". There a lot coming out but it's going everywhere. I would like it set to "stream" where there's still plenty of it, but it is focused on one specific location, or in my case one specific thought. Of course, I am grateful that there is liquid in the bottle once again if you catch my drift, but I'm a one woman guy, so the muse better not bring a friend.
