Ever eat a refreshing meal and then sit around with friends, strangers, or whomever and have a nice little chat about something interesting?

I love the after meal chats. One of my favorites is during the summertime. There's a BBQ at a friends place, or your place, and we eat something tasty and then sit around with a drink of some kind and talk about trivial things. We talk about movies, philosophy, religion, sports, fate, dreams, travel, you know all kinds of crazy topics.

I'm reminded of this because I just finished lunch, and I would love nothing more than to sit around with a friend or two for an hour and talk about life. Unfortunately, I am only on my lunch break, and all my close friends work for other places than I do, so I have neither the time or the people needed for such an enjoyable moment.

I do love sitting around no longer hungry for food, but for knowledge and perspective. Even though this cannot occur right now, just thinking of the activity has brought a nice deep breath and a smile to me. I'm really excited about the weekend. I'm going to ponder things, watch a movie or two and see some friends. Plus I have adequate spending money for any adventures that may arise. I hope everyone has a good weekend. I feel pretty good right now, so I guess the only thing I can do is go back to work.
