Spring has sprung and I am thrilled about it. Spring is my favorite season. After all the chill and gloom the sun shines warmer. The smells of nature become strong again. The birds return as do the leaves. I find that my ambition for a great many things also returns. I feel like in some way that I am slowly rising from my winter slumber... a hibernation of spirit if you will.
I can't wait to ride my Schwinn. I can't wait to wear shorts outdoors. I can't wait to shop for new clothes for the coming warmth. I can't wait to go to some batting cages, the park, a baseball game, a BBQ (edited to add BBQ), the soft serve ice cream place, the beach- okay maybe I'm getting ahead of myself a little.
Spring always makes me smile. I feel pretty good this afternoon. I'm looking forward to the gym tonight... I love to sweat... umm, you can take that however you want.

i'm with you on spring! i love summer too, so its a tie for the love, but spring is really delicious. i love the return to verdant scents, the sounds of different birds, the warm breezes mixed with the cool breezes, the flowers, the feeling of change ~ very sensual in ever sense of the word. of course, an ixnay on the ollenpay would be most welcome.
