Been waiting for the planets to align and my new computer to arrive in all its' parts and glory. On Friday this event finally occurred with the last piece arriving causing all who know me to shutter as it seemed the world would not be the same ever again.
Then something funny happened... there's something wrong with one of the NEW parts... ahhhhhhhhh!
The computer doesn't work... multiple tests shall be performed later, hoping for the best possible solution, like needing a new power supply or something not too troubling or expensive like that. Hopefully anything other than boxing everything back up and having to send it all back and go through all that headache.
Either way, I still have my work computer for communication and news purposes, so things could be worse.
In other news, I still feel pretty good this week. I can't wait to get the gym tonight after work and attack the basketball court with vigor and desire. I've lost 11 pounds since late December and it seems I finally am getting my head screwed on correctly... sometimes it's hard to do that, especially when it feels like the instructions for the accurate screwing on of my head are in German.
Today is payday and tomorrow is the weekend, who wants a drink, I'm buyin!
