You'll probably always have more ideas than finished works. That's a good thing, too. If you run out of ideas...write them all...what do you have left to do??

I have lots of bits and pieces of stuff. I usually (*usually*) finish poems. But I have many unfinished stories lying around. Every once in a while I'll pick an old one up and write some more, then put it back down. Eventually, I figure I'll finish most of the bits and pieces.

Sure, of course I've thought of trying to do it more seriously. Being able to be a writer (a fiction writer, or a poet...) and make a living off it would be a dream come true for me. But until then, I'm an editor. So I'm at least working with words.
