The light above my head and clicking of time passing fine
I spin my wheels and add a twist of fate to enhance the design
It makes me remember my future plans for an everchanging year
so I can find new ways to cover old wounds that I hold dear
My fingers release the pain while my heart holds you to blame
Isn't it an unbeliveable crime; the way you won't change your mind
I feel a sense of wonder until I feel a sense of shame
Why does each ounce of emotion have to feel the same?
I take a look into the eyes of a highly reflective liar
who imagines his fate is the product of his desires
Every inch, every thought begging to know what's wrong
constantly looking to find the place where he belongs
Wishing and dreaming until he no longer understands
Trying too hard to make all the plans become demands
Drifting eyes forward then down upon the marchless walk
Silently cursing the words until the dreams become the talk
Eating away, eating too much, eating to the fall
the hunger of life is consuming us all
