Well, another lonely Valentine's day. I haven't had a "good" one in 3 years. Yep, 3 years ago I was in love, touching, hugging, etc. Nothing serious has progressed since that V-day, at least nothing worth noting. I'm not one of those people though who begrudge those of you who have a Valentine today, good for you, I hope you enjoy it.
One thing I did enjoy today was the Charlie Brown Peanuts Valentine cartoon. Damn that's good stuff... and Snoopy? Snoopy is gold my friends! When he popped out of the mailbox and startled Chuck or when he came out in the red wig and laughed hysterically at a befuddled Charlie, damn I almost snotted diet cherry coke. That beagle has exceptional timing and is quite the showdog. Snoopy rocks!
Do you know what tomorrow brings? A new day, new beginnings, a clean slate, potential Valentines for 2007, yadda yadda yadda. Seriously people, tomorrow brings the beginning of discounted Valentine's Day candy! Now, the important thing to remember when buying the discounted post Valentines candy is: just because it's half off, that doesn't mean you should buy or consume twice as much. As we all know the candy can be bad if not taken in moderation. Our solice and logical reasoning why we partake is due to the discount in price. You cannot pass up the Godiva, or Ghirardelli at 50-70% off. You simply can't. It's a once, maybe twice (possibly after Halloween) a year thing, but remember kiddies, moderation.

Something kinda stiff was poking me in the leg. I investigate and then I just found $20 in my shorts that I haven't worn in ages. The money was obviously washed in the velcro cargo pocket, but it has survived albeit it is a little more brittle. It's two fives and a ten. Oh Happy Day! Valentine's is not so bad after all. Hold up wait a minute, wouldn't you know, this discovery was made at 12:03am... that's right, after Valentine's day had ended.
Perhaps it's a good sign for the coming spring.
