I was so excited about spring... and now there's a blanket of fresh snow covering the landscape. The whispers of spring are no longer audible, but the echoes of winter are damn near deafening.

oops!

I know my friend Spring is still close by, even if it made a wrong turn on the way here. Let's face it no one is perfect. One thing is...

Ah yes Buffalo weather....nothing suprises me now. I considered shoveling, but now I'm just hoping that it's melted somewhat by tomorrow afternoon. It seems to me that some of my greatest thoughts come to me while in the midst of chaos. Rarely during the time that I do have to reflect on things. Everyone's different I suppose. whatever

from the transfer and merging of accounts, some of my friends on my friends list duplicated. So i had to delete one... so in deleting one, it deleted both. Please accept my new request!

Spring has sprung and I am thrilled about it. Spring is my favorite season. After all the chill and gloom the sun shines warmer. The smells of nature become strong again. The birds return as do the leaves. I find that my ambition for a great many things also returns. I feel like in some way that I am slowly rising from my winter slumber......

hey! the new place is really great - thanks for asking! even though moving was rather more hellish than i anticipated, i am so glad i followed my instinct and moved a week early. this is where i need to be, you know? plus, there is a walking trail, which is an endless source of delight. my down spell seems to be mostly over, and the change of venue helps tremendously. now i am at the stage where i've got a few scraggly details to attend to for perfection to be mine (muahahahaha). i think the best part is its SO CLEAN, and i've been cleaning every day to keep it as such. mmmmm, clorox.

i'm with you on spring! i love summer too, so its a tie for the love, but spring is really delicious. i love the return to verdant scents, the sounds of different birds, the warm breezes mixed with the cool breezes, the flowers, the feeling of change ~ very sensual in ever sense of the word. of course, an ixnay on the ollenpay would be most welcome.

enjoy yr season! smile

Just got back from hockey and dinner. It was a very good time. It's been a fun weekend, but I'm almost outta time and spending cash. Oh, sobering reality snatching me back from the whirlwind of freedom and play.

I took many digital photos at the game. We were in the 11th row from the ice. It was wonderful. You could hear the players talking....

Hey everybody, just back from the gym. I usually go with a buddy and his wife. Working out is definitely easier and more fun when you have a friend or 2 to go with you. Us guys go play basketball and she does cardio and some weight training. I feel great- my back seems completely fine again. I was moving around so fluidly, having a...

Thanks, i hope the pictures turn out good. I'm actually doing them within 2 days, tomorrow - a few head shots, and the rest tuesday. It's hard to juggle everything with work, and working out. I want to go to the gym no less than 3 times a week and i can't go on the weekends. Poopiehead would be great to yell at a hockey game...original..
EL SUICIDO LOCO - do you know what this thing is? It kindof bothers me..

Wow! I guess they are evil creatures! A friend told me that they would eat the feet off kitties at some mink ranch he knew about. Grrr. evil bastards!

Hey, I forgot to mention that KikiBH was also in the PhistPhucks. She was our tambarine (that looks wrong) girl and she sang a song that i wrote. She was gonna kick my ass if i didn't tell you! smile

Thank you thank you thank you! You know, you're one of the all-around sweetest guys I've run into on here? And the reason I like your new pic is that you your smile looks so genuinely happy, and that makes me want to smile back. biggrin

I'm not on AIM very often, but I'll add you to my buddylist in case I'm ever on...and I'm sure I'll have time to be, now.

So I go to the gym tonight to test my injured back. Basketball time, up and down, get back on D, scoring buckets, take a few hard shots to the spine, and I've made it home alive.

I'd say my back was about 80% physically when I went tonight, about 78.2% now. The road to recovery is a long and treacherous one sometimes. It wouldn't...

haha ~ i like the way you qualify the ravagement! smile ravageness? ravagization? how does one modify ravage? i can see you as a night person ~ something about the contemplative nature rather begs for dusk, doesn't it? i mean, the clarity of morning really works my intellectual mind, but the night is much more for the emotional mind, if that makes sense.

and in randomness, if you like pumpkin pie, you should throw this together and see if you like. its low-cal, low-fat, and so good for you, yet yummy:

1 can organic pumpkin (if its runny, drain off any excess water)
2 organic eggs
2 tbsp organic butter (optional, but adds flavor)
2tsp cinnamon (freshly grated if possible)
2 tsp cayenne pepper (if you like spicy - i do)
1tbsp stevia

preheat to 425. whip eggs & stevia, add softened butter and mix till frothy, but not stiff. fold into pumpkin, add spices, mix thoroughly. bake until souffleeish consistency- usually 30 min to 45 min. yummmm. (all things are approx so experiment, esp if you are at a diff altitude)

ouch.

Ever throw your back out, or pinch a nerve back there, or just have it so sore and stiff that you can hardly move without much pain? Well I have... AGAIN!

I think this is the 3rd time this has happened in my life. ON Thursday night I was playing basketball. It was the last game the of night before most of the players...

well, it could be, but it was actually a contemplation on self-induced miscarriage. now, i have never been pregnant, so this is not my experience - just a series of thoughts i had around the issue. but it works either way, or otherwise.

accupuncture is so awesome if a giften person does it, but can also just be someone sticking pins in you. i think you might actually get into it if you found the right person. & yr maleness will not get in the way of yr pilates practice, silly! although, it might be a bit foreign to move yr body in such ways, you will adapt. and start wearing pastel tights. tongue seriously, i hope it does work for you, because its an awesome thing to combine with gym practice, especially when injured.

glad yr healing nicely! and yes, change IS good.

This is a little known fact, but when I'm not working, working out or being a wiseguy I dabble in wisdom.

Eddie the Wise they call me. I find it funny when commenting on the obvious is considered wise, but most times it is. Of course I often state that the only thing I know is that I know nothing. That is not mine, it...

Oh, Elvis Costello is coming around to my area soon, have you ever seen him in concert? It's worth the money. How did your pilates dvd go? Do you work out alot? I love to, it's addicting.

When I get a new toy, I'm still very much like a kid. I must play, I must play, and I must play some more. I love that. As I get older, the toys get bigger and more expensive. Of course with bigger and more expensive toys comes more responsibility. I guess it's a small price to pay for one's amusement.

Anyway my new toy...

On lunch at work... today it's oatmeal and hot cocoa.

Among drinks, I dig Pina Coladas, Malibu coconut rum, any kind of fruit smoothie (yes I'm a guy), diet cherry coke is grand, I love any kind of cocoa drink. I had a caramel Hot chocolate thing recently, it was tasty. Sometimes I like exotic coffees too.

What's your favorite drink(s)?

well hello there. i will go ahead and assume K sent you over to me! isn't she lovely! smile

my favorite drinks..... um, i would have to say real hard cider (Strongbow or Blackthorne, not that too-sweet woodchuck stuff), and dr pepper, and vodka cranberry. OH and lately i have really been into the bloody mary's, i was watching a lot of divine secrets of the ya ya sisterhood for some reason! blush
