So I have this horrible urge to update. Yes, yes I do. BUT... I have very little to say.
So I am sitting here watching victor's chest rise and fall as he sleeps, for once, there is no snoring. *squee* He looks super cute in his new blue blankie, all snuggled up. My blankie is lying beside him, with my new frog sitting on my pillow. Yeah I know I kept the frog that was supposed to be his. It's funny at 25 i'm sleeping with a stuffed animal again. :-) It rocks the fuck out of life.
I really don't decorate. That being said. You should see it. my towels all mismatch. I have weird ghetto sheets. But it's beginning to come together. My color scheme is coalescing as we speak... or rather as I speak. So here is the break down, I know you want to know.
Front room- Asian inspired with a weird blue/green couch. Luckily I have some cool blue/green rugs and accents in pictures. It's kinda awesome. Instead of the Red/black that is typical, I have this cool soft asian feel. I like it. It's inviting and comfy. All the wood is black, or super dark dark cherry.
Kitchen- Blue and Purple, with botanical prints. Yeah, it is that cool. I need to get new dishes though, ours are looking shabby. all scrathed and nasty, and I want to get real silverware. I hate the collection Victor has. I really have a posh kitchen for living in an apartment. :-) I like it a lot. No wood to speak of save for some spoons.
Breakfast Area- I have the most awesom breakfast area. It's all decorated in soft greens, and soft blues. I tend to use this crazy daisy table cloth that was picked up from like goodwill or something, that and my pale green linen table clothes.. they just look so awesome. All the art on the walls in there are my Amy Brown prints, it is the awesome. I love that the prints we bought are not typical amy fare. Thy aren't bright colors, they are all muted and gorgeously subdued. ugly wood lives in this area.. Victor's stuff mainly. Save for my cabinet missing a peice of glass!
Our Bedroom - Though you really can't tell there is a color scheme. there will be. I have decided to go with the origional plan, a scheme of all blues, to make it feel more underwater and fun. The blue will really calm me, and I usually can use some place calming in my life. As you notice the whole house is in some kind of blue.
Yeah I'm weird like that.
Bathroom- I have finally decided... My bathroom has been hodgepodge for ever. I used to have dragons on my mirror in all colors *it made all the towels match* I have had the super posh bathroom in all off white, with black accents and sea shells. Now it's time to have a "fun" bathroom. Our Bathroom is going to be frogs. Yup. Frogs, and lily pads. That makes my color scheme into greens and pinks. It will be loverly. If I can't find a shower curtain I like, I will ask Annie's mother for help and see if I can convince her to let me use her embroidery machine. Though I think I will be able to find frogs. For the moment though, it will stay the same boring room it is. I will have to change both the bedroom and bathroom slowly but surely.
Wow, looks like I did have something to talk about.
Ok, lets get to the nitty and the gritty. I started a new medication dosage. Instead of 60mg once a day, I take 40mg twice a day. This has lead to problems.
1. I still have headaches most every day.
2. I have developed twitches. Yeah, I twitch... usually my eyes.
3. I have lost the ability to go outside on sunny days.
4. It's just damn hard to remember to take pills twice a day.
I will talk to my doctor soon about all this, he wants me to go through a whole two weeks before making any more changes.
