Good morning.
How are you?
I am fine.
would you like some chocolate?
why yes, yes I would.
Sorry, i am on a small chocolate binge. Not really, more of a strawberry binge, and cherry lime-ade, and diet wild cherry pepsi, and bisquits, and.. well needless to say, I'm on carb/sugar/caffeine bender! YAY! Have been for most of the day today and yesterday. After having given up most refined sugar (still gets me sometimes) and only going for whole wheat products this past month. I broke, not so bad mind you, still mostly good. Meh.. tommorow is tommorow and today is today.
So, mentalinvention asked a really good question about my last journal, that of course being, "does your mom live in Nebraska?"
Why no, no she doesn't. My mother lives in washington state. My mother is a union steam-fitter and the prospects up here are a little slim. Intel has not been building new chip plants, the shipyards are full of fitters already (its a nasty job to work on ships) and the only good stable work my mom can find is out of state. My mother works on Nuclear power plants. Yeah, I know it's scary business. So she is travelling to nebraska to work on a shut down there. It's cool, she's safe, and working on a plant you get less radiation that you would during a mammogram. They have all these nifty sensors and you stay really safe. She was working down in california last year and will again. It's so nice, she goes down to the san clemente area to work on the SONGS plant. Songs=San Onofre Nuclear Generation Station. If you live out that way, you've probably seen it, It's the monument to Dolly Parton.
The plant looks like two huge breasts. I visited her last time down there, it was pretty cool. Back to the matter at hand, Mom was in wyoming when she called this morning, all is well, she is safe. Did I mention she is driving an El Camino there?
I love my mom.
Onwards.... Today I get my camera! YAY! YAY! YAY! I am so thrilled. I cannot wait to learn how to take a picture that actually isn't shlock. Lets see.. Do I have anything left to say.. no.. so here we go. Something else to take up space.
He he he I stole it from ShiLovah
FIRSTS
-First car: 1969 dodge truck. She was named babymoney turqouise green, she kicked ass. Partially due to someone taking a 1972 400 cubic inch engine and dropping it in.
-First real kiss: In the 8th grade from a guy from school, I loved him till my senior year.
-First real Break Up: Very same boy, very same week. we started dating, everyone said it was because I was a slut, he didn't want people to think that of him. We stayed together, but had a huge public break-up.
-First real bf/gf: I would have to say, same kid.
-First screen name: SpiritDancerKira
-First self purchased album: Cats, the origional broadway cast, I was like 8

-First true love: I know this should say my husband, but it doesn't. I fell in love for the first time in high school. I thought he only liked me as a friend, and I was always everyone's "little sister" which is worse than being "just friends" It means they protect you to the dying end, but you aren't even in the REALM of sexy. I remember him coming to my house to study for physics, we finished, and started watching a movie, and it was all over. I think he might be the reason I hate monogamy, he and I weren't, it was so much easier then.
-First enemy: I've had so many, i don't really remember, I tend to turn them into friends, then move away.
-First big trip: To disneyland with my aunt carol, never again.
-First music you remember hearing: My mother singing. I'm gonna cry if I talk about this anymore.
