Mom left for Nebraska this morning. That makes me forlorn and sad. which are really one and the same.. so it also makes me redundant. I got to see her last night before my class. We had cocktails and made earrings, it was nice. She also game me some pearls to work with.. that was nice too. I miss her already, I always seem to break down when she's not here. I just can feel how far away she is.

In other news. I love me some dichroic glass. I had so much fun in my class last night. Even though I only finished one peice, I still had a great time doing it! I had to finish some of my other jewels, so I spent most of the night on the grinder. I really have a much better feel for how it all works though. I am going to need to take a fusing class this year. That and buy a kiln. a kiln.... god, this is going to be expensive.

I don't know if you noticed but TarNish wants to come up to see me and ColoredDreams now see that would be the true awesome! It would be like the dragon ladies my mom and her compatriots were. =^..^= I can imagine us wreaking havoc on this pitiful city, or maybe just staying in and having a trivial pursuit fest.... strip rules of course!]

So I made etched mugs yesterday for my aunt pat's friends, only three mind you. I also packaged them in bags from the dollar tree with tissue and handmade gift tags *also* personalized. The supplies were pretty inexpensive, only fifteen bucks. My aunt, who by the way is super fucking well off, decided to pay me for my time, effort and creativity. I love it when she gets that notion in her head. So whatever. I walked out of there with three twenties in hand. So I made fourty-five straight profit. I love when that happens. I'm glad I wrapped them for her, i feel less guilty about getting paid so well. Then again as I found out recently, if she was going to get something personalized from say the mall, it would have cost her a much much prettier penny. I am feeling really confident and great in my pursuit of sustainable crafting. Now I just have to take photos for card to sell at the AGGS convention, Take some prototypes to Goddess Gallery Gardens, and make some bank. I'm amazed that my crafty/arty nature is beginning to have a pay off.

Moving on. Here are ten things you didn't know about me.. or maybe you did.. fucking stalkers.
1. I have a jewelry organization system in my bathroom
2. I had a box collection as a kid, not like cardboard, but ceramic, glass, wood, metal, anything really.
3. I collect advertising glasses. AKA the old pepsi co glasses with cartoon characters, or the promo glasses from movies I.E. Star wars, star trek. yeah, it's an impressive collection.
4. I tried to start a new group on here last night "girly gamers" (AND IT GOT APPROVED!)
5. I have a purse/backpack that looks like batwings, I wear it everywhere, 'cept near halloween.
6. I visit my grandfather's grave and talk to him.
7. Usually when I am writing this, or really most things on the computer I am in a state of relative undress. At this very moment, I'm sporting super grover undies and a blanket.
8. I am a neurotic Moisturizer.
9. My whole family is obsessed with trolls/wishniks. You know the ones with the crazy fucking hair, sometimes belly jewels.
10. I own barbies and play with them because they have better clothes than I do.

Ok.. that was fun. I needed that! oooh wow. that was super cool!
