Well, I went to the show. All by myself...
My friend wasn't able to get a ticket.

It was fucking incredible.
Josh Homme is my new favorite guitarist. He is amazing.
They played mostly new stuff, which is good, even though I would have loved to hear more old.

The opening band, Throw Rag, was great. They reminded me of Pigmy Love Circus, except a lot faster. There was a guy who played the washboard. The fucking washboard. How cooler can you get? He played the trumpet for a few songs, too. I think I am in love with him. The singer looked like a confederate soldier, and ended up taking off all clothes besided his underwear and his orange bandana.

Oh my god, when the Queens came on... that was such a good show...
I have never heard such perfection live. "Feel Good Hit of the Summer" was meshed with another song, I couldn't distinguish which one, but it was great. The whole show was great. "The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret," "I Think I Lost My Headache," "Leg of Lamb," "Burn the Witch," "Monster in Your Parasole" (yes!), and "Go With the Flow" were some other highlights. They didn't play "No One Knows," which was surprizing, but reasonable, even though I was looking forward to bouncing around to that song. It's so bouncey. BUT THEY DIDN'T PLAY "BETTER LIVING THROUGH CHEMISTRY." That is truely one of the greatest songs EVER, and I was very sad that is was left out, but maybe I'll have better luck when they come to Sacramento.

I got a pic! I am pretty sure Josh played with it, because it was on the floor of the stage (not on his mic stand).

It was such a good show...
That's all I will be saying for days. I am so amazed by that band, especially Josh.

Can't wait til May 31.
